Why chose DSP?
Why chose Abzu?
Digital Signal Processing, or DSP, is the process of altering and working with audio through digital means instead of, or in addition to analogue. This means that any sonic flavour imparted on the sound is done so as a design choice rather than a by-product of poor or improper design.
The aim of the Abzu Crossfire is to combine the best aspects of both analogue and digital design. First, by employing some of the highest analogue-to-digital converters currently available on the market, we ensure the character and quality of your material is accurately reproduced. Once in the digital domain, the Crossfire applies its EQ, Crossovers and other effects with maximum precision. After conversion back to the analogue domain, It is from this point where the operator can apply their own sonic flair, through their choice of EQ, amplifiers, boxes, and FX. Through this process, the sound system can achieve precision where it required, and warmth where it is desired.
